The story events of “To kill a mockingbird” took place during the period of the Great Depression, in the imaginary town of Maycomb, somewhere in the US State of Alabama in 1930.

The main character and the narrator of the story is a little six-year-old girl, Jean Scout Finch.

She and her brother Jeremy Finch, raised by their father Atticus Finch, an emphatic and just lawyer, also emphasize his children to remain just in their lives.

He notably advised his children that it is a sin to kill the mockingbird.

This story follows the three years of Jean Finch’s life, where she grew older from 6 to 9 years of age during all the course of the events of this story.

This story’s main event began when Tom Robinson, a black resident, was falsely accused of raping a white girl named Mayella Ewell.

Atticus decided to defend him in court despite pressure from his community.

Then he went on to see the different challenging situations while defending his client, and the most difficult of them arises when a mob tried to lynch Tom Robinson.

Still, he stands by his client and tries his well to prove his client innocent by trying his best to prove that her father attacked Mayella Ewell.

Still, all of his efforts went in vain when Robinson was convicted and later killed in an encounter while trying to escape custody.

Scout learns valuable and precious lessons from her father, and the most important of them was always to do moral things.

Which are not always easy or simple, and try to remain just with each and everyone despite their race or color.
